Today's emergency session in the UN summoned by none other than Russia, whose representative Churkin has just started to speak, has begun. Via Bloomberg:
  • WEST, KIEV 'HENCHMEN' GOVT RESPONSIBLE FOR INSTABILITY: CHURKIN
  • CHURKIN URGES 'DE-ESCALATION,' RETURN TO FEB.21 ACCORD
But the most important opinion, that of China, remains entirely noncomittal:
  • CHINA URGES POLITICAL, DIPLOMATIC SETTLEMENT IN UKRAINE: WANG
  • CHINA HOPES RELEVANT PARTIES IN UKRAINE 'KEEP CALM,' WANG SAYS
The live webcast below.

So to sum it all up:
Russia - blames The US and Ukraine right-wing for escalating against pro-Russian forces:

  • MAIDAN 'HENCHMEN' ORGANIZING TERROR WITH WEST BACKING: CHURKIN
  • WEST, KIEV 'HENCHMEN' GOVT RESPONSIBLE FOR INSTABILITY: CHURKIN
  • CHURKIN URGES 'DE-ESCALATION,' RETURN TO FEB.21 ACCORD
The US (Ambassador Power) says it Russia's fault...
  • U.S. FAVORS SPEEDING UP PROCESS FOR UKRAINE-IMF ACCORD: POWER
  • RUSSIA 'SPREADING FICTION, WE MUST STOP THIS TONIGHT,': POWER
  • MUST DISCUSS FACTS TO DISPEL RUSSIA PROPAGANDA ON UKRAINE:POWER
  • ONLY RUSSIA CAN COORDINATE 'PROFESSIONAL' INSTABILITY: POWER
But..
  • U.S. STANDS WITH UKRAINE TO HELP SEE OUT IMF AGREEMENT: POWER
  • $1B LOAN GARANTEE WITH UKRAINE WILL CONCLUDE TMRW, POWER SAYS
So Gazprom gets some of its cash?
